Day seven: Travel agency skit

Objective

  • Students will work collaboratively
  • Students will present a Travel Agency Skit
  • Students will be able to communicate in oral paragraphs or strings of paragraphs

Evaluation (45 minutes)

Activity 1

Each team presents its 5-minute Travel Agency Skit. Students may wish to use their travel poster, travel brochure and simulated passports (colorfully bound) as props in this skit. Teacher evaluates according to the rubric for the Travel Agency Skit.

Activity 2

Each student writes an Action-Connection-Reflection to describe his or her role in the planning and research. These are also submitted to the teacher for evaluation.

Closure (5 minutes)

Teacher tells students that the teams will prepare their 'A Unique Experience on Our Trip' skit for the next two to three days. Teacher leads discussion for student clarification.
