Day seven: Creating our newspapers

Objective

  • Students will combine all group newspaper articles and pages.
  • Students will collaborate with classmates to edit and revise their group newspapers.

Independent Practice (45 minutes)

Students gather in their newspaper groups. Students work together to edit or rewrite their articles, and to lay them out in the appropriate newspaper sections.

Closure (10 minutes)

Student groups share their work with another group and provide critiques and feedback for improvement. Students will revise all articles at home.
