Geography, environment, volunteerism; review of maps and directions, describing daily activities and people, family relationships. Talking about the past.
The unit lasts for 5 days.
Objectives
Students will be able to:
- Talk about things to do in their community
- Recognize places in their community
- Talk about geographical features
- Talk about ecological and environmental issues
- Talk about past times
Lessons
Meeting the Language Learning Continuum
- Students will understand the significance of volunteerism.
- Students will be able to convey information about environmental issues.
- Students will demonstrate Stage One or Two functions in communication, with some errors that do not hinder comprehension.
