Unit 6: My Leisure Activities

Community; obtaining and providing information; sports, cultural events, and other free-time activities.
The unit lasts for 5 days.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

• Talk about and describe a community
• Talk about sports and other free-time activities
• Talk about attending cultural events
• Obtain information
• Provide information
• Express likes and dislikes

Lessons

• Day 1: Letters and photos
• Day 2: Monthly planner
• Day 3: Expressions of frequency
• Day 4: Surveys and results
• Day 5: Location, frequency; likes and dislikes

Meeting the Language Learning Continuum

Students will perform the actions listed in the objectives, in social interaction, using short sentences.
