Unit 13: Fashion show
Day Three: My daily routine
Objective
Students will be able to describe their daily routine to classmates and will be able to write a series of sentences regarding their description.
Setting the Stage (1 minute)
Teacher passes out a written description in the target language (TL) of a famous person or of a fictitious character's daily routine, typed in a daily planner format.
Input (10 minutes)
Students, in pairs, read this daily routine.
Guided Practice (10 minutes)
Students translate this daily routine into English
Independent Practice (25 minutes)
Students illustrate their daily routine in a filmstrip format. On the back of the filmstrip, they write phrases or sentences that describe each frame.
Closure (10 minutes)
Students share their filmstrip daily routine with classmates in a circle-within-a-circle or (carousel) format.
